A deep and abiding commitment to art in all its manifestations has led her to make films and series connected to these core explorations.

Martina has worked as a series producer and director on a number of long running series. She also works as a lecturer and trainer in documentary and drama and have done so for 20 years in various colleges.

She was the Irish representative for the European Documentary Network and served on the board for two years. She is also a member of the Documentary Alliance Committee of Screen Directors Guild of Ireland and sits on its board.
